God’s Most Precious Gift Part 2

Our lives were blessed again on August 23rd 1972 when our baby boy Larry Robert joined the family. He decided it was way too crowded in momma’s belly and arrived three weeks early.

Garry was in the Air Force working the midnight shift   in data processing. My water broke in the afternoon, so I woke him up to take me to the hospital. He said to drive Lorrie over to my sister’s house, then he would get up and take me to the hospital. There was no need to hurry; I was in labor for over twenty four hours after I got to the hospital.

The doctor said we couldn’t wait any longer and decided to take the baby by C-section. They rolled me into the operating room and were prepping me for surgery, when Larry just popped out. The doctor said it’s a boy. I told them no, the baby was supposed to be a girl. They said it’s a boy alright, just look at this baby’s balls. I looked up and saw my precious baby boy. That’s when I knew our son had inherited the perfect Barker balls. To be continued…
